THE IMPACT OF GLOBAL TRENDS ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES IN THE CONTEXT OF SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES

The paper examines the transformation of development processes under the influence of global trends. The critical importance of studying the spatial development of territories and the factors influencing it in modern conditions is established. It is proven that in modern conditions, development activity is actively developing, which is a highly effective business that creates real estate objects that become a profitable asset. Development activity is defined as one of the effective tools of spatial development that contributes to the transformation of the space of territories. It is established that among the factors influencing the development and spatial development of territories, global trends deserve special attention. The works of scientists devoted to territorial and spatial development, development, individual global trends and their impact on socio-economic processes are studied. It is established that despite the attention of scientists to the study of global trends, determining their impact on development in the context of the spatial development of territories requires specification. The aim of the study was to study the impact of global trends on the transformation of development processes in the context of spatial development of territories. The study used the historical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization. The stages of local economic development were identified and their characteristics were provided. It was established that the stages of local economic development are distinguished by the vector of transformations, the impetus for development and their inherent characteristics. The global trends of the present day were characterized. It was established that the global trends that affect development activities, causing its transformation, are urbanization, globalization, digitalization and sustainable development. The directions of influence on development processes of global trends were determined. The prospects for further research related to the study of the impact on the transformation of development of not only global trends, but also local factors, such as martial law, are substantiated.
