У статті досліджено трансформацію світової морської торгівлі та ринку морських транспортних послуг, а також особливості участі Румунії, України та Молдови у Чорноморсько-Дунайській транспортній системі. Проаналізовано динаміку й товарну структуру морських вантажопотоків, експорт та імпорт транспортних і морських транспортних послуг. Визначено відмінності у масштабах, структурі та спрямованості зовнішньоекономічних операцій трьох країн. Розглянуто роль порту Констанца, дунайських маршрутів, ініціативи «Шляхи солідарності» ЄС-Україна і прикордонної інфраструктури у переорієнтації регіональних потоків. Охарактеризовано значення європейської економічної інтеграції, цифровізації економіки, інтероперабельності портових і митних інформаційних систем та кібербезпеки для розвитку морських перевезень. Застосовано порівняльний, структурно-динамічний та індексний методи.
