Abstract

The research substantiates the moral and ethical principles within the system of deontological training of future physicians, which is an important aspect of contemporary medical education. Professional activity in healthcare requires a high level of specialized knowledge, awareness, and adherence to fundamental moral and ethical norms that ensure the quality of medical care, patient trust, and the social legitimacy of the profession. The research highlights the requirement of the deontological component integration into the educational process and developing deontological competence as a holistic pedagogical task. The paper analyzes key moral and ethical principles, namely autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, honesty, justice, and confidentiality, which form the basis of professional medical ethics. It has been determined that the principle of patient autonomy is fundamental. It is based on respect for freedom of choice and informational support in clinical decision-making. The principle of beneficence implies the physician’s duty to act for the patient’s benefit, while non-maleficence prohibits causing harm. The principle of veracity ensures openness and truthfulness in communication, which is a necessary condition for informed consent. The principle of justice guarantees equal access to medical services regardless of social or other differences, forming the foundation of inclusion and diversity in the academic environment. Confidentiality protects the patient’s personal information, maintaining trust between doctor and patient. The analysis of moral and ethical principles highlights their role in shaping professional responsibility, academic integrity, and quality interaction within the healthcare environment. Further research involves the development of methods and techniques for the deontological training of future physicians amid the contemporary challenges facing the healthcare sector.
