EDUCATION OF STUDENT YOUTH AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF COMPETENCE-BASED EDUCATION

Abstract

The article describes the peculiarities of education of student youth as an important component of competence-based education. The relevance of the study is that today there is a change in priorities in approaches to the education of education applicants related to martial law in Ukraine and tasks during the post-war reconstruction. It is noted that special attention is paid to the development of national consciousness of youth, the formation of an active civic position and the assertion of values of a democratic society. The concept of education in higher education is implemented in the following main areas: mental, moral, aesthetic, labor, economic, physical, environmental, legal education, etc. The peculiarity of the realization of each direction is to take into account the specifics of future professional activity in order to form those human and professional qualities that are necessary for the chosen specialty. Attention is paid to the importance of diagnostics of values, which makes it possible to identify priorities, internal motives of young people, timely monitor changes in the outlook, design the educational process to develop a harmonious, responsible and spiritually mature personality. Among the methods of diagnosis pedagogical observation, surveys, expert evaluation, etc. are distinguished. The concept of “upbringing” is determined by the system-forming in the structure of personal qualities, which attests to the moral development of the young man, the correspondence of the behavior and beliefs of the individual to established norms and values. It is an indicator of social maturity, which is manifested in the harmonious integration of the personal and professional qualities of the future specialist with the requirements and interests of society. It is stated that the disciplines “Pedagogy of Inclusive Learning”, “Pedagogy of the Modern School” implement an educational component through the selection of the content of educational material, which has moral and ethical, professionally significant potential, organization of educational activity, taking into account its influence on the formation of personal qualities, solving practical problems.
