TO THE ISSUE OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY CULTURE IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

The article focuses on the culture of academic integrity as a multidimensional socio-cultural phenomenon that combines ethical principles, legal norms, and institutional mechanisms for ensuring the quality of education. European and international approaches to shaping the culture of academic integrity are analyzed, including the Bucharest Declaration and Council of Europe documents, which define key values such as honesty, trust, fairness, respect, accountability, and responsibility. The evolution of the Ukrainian model of academic integrity is highlighted, which has developed through three stages: fragmented regulatory measures until 2005, a Eurointegration- driven impetus during 2005–2016, and legislative consolidation and institutionalization from 2017 onward. An integrative approach to the culture of academic integrity is substantiated, combining the corporate academic culture of institutions, the internal culture of the individual, and spiritual culture, while defining the value-based and ethical guidelines for the behavior of students and educators. It is established that the formation of a culture of academic integrity requires a systematic, interdisciplinary, pedagogical, and culturally sensitive approach, including the development of digital literacy and responsible information practices. Special attention is given to the role of educational, awareness-raising, and methodological activities aimed at cultivating critical thinking, responsibility, and moral self-awareness among participants in the educational process. The integration of educational practices, methodological support, and the development of intrinsic motivation is emphasized as essential for the effective implementation of academic integrity principles, contributing to the development of an ethically mature, responsible, and professionally conscious academic community capable of maintaining high standards in teaching, research, and professional interaction. Furthermore, the importance of continuous monitoring, assessment, and improvement of academic integrity practices is underscored, ensuring the resilience and effectiveness of fostering an integritybased educational environment amid contemporary challenges and educational transformations
