Abstract

The article addresses the issue of developing reflective skills in future Polish philologists through the use of digital technologies. The relevance of fostering reflective skills in the professional training of future philologists under the conditions of higher education digitalization is substantiated. The study analyzes the works of Ukrainian and Polish scholars concerning the essence of reflection and reflective skills, as well as their role in the personal and professional development of students. The significance of reflective skills for the formation of foreign language competence and readiness for continuous professional self-improvement among future Polish philologists is determined. The possibilities of using digital technologies as a means of developing self-analysis, self-monitoring, and selfassessment skills in the process of learning Polish are characterized. The didactic potential of the Moodle learning management system, the interactive services Kahoot and Mentimeter, as well as the artificial intelligence tools NotebookLM and ChatGPT for organizing students’ reflective activities is analyzed. The article presents practical experience in using these digital tools while teaching the courses Practical Course of the Polish Language, Practical Course of the Polish Language (Elementary and Basic Levels), Modern Polish Language. Morphology, Theory and Practice of Translation, and Polish Orthography Practicum. The study establishes that the use of digital technologies contributes to the development of students’ ability to critically reflect on the outcomes of their learning activities, identify and analyze errors, plan their individual learning trajectories, and improve their foreign language competence. It is proved that digital technologies are an effective means of developing reflective skills in future Polish philologists and an important factor in their professional growth within the contemporary digital educational environment.
