ASSESSMENT OF TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE COUNTRIES OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE

The purpose of the article is to study the trends in the development of the logistics infrastructure of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the impact of international economic integration on its formation in modern conditions. The logistics infrastructure of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe plays an important role in ensuring the functioning of international trade, transit transportation and the integration of the countries of the region into the European and world economic space. Modern challenges, in particular geopolitical instability, the transformation of global supply chains, the digitalization of the economy, the implementation of "green" standards of the European Union, as well as the consequences of military operations in the region, significantly change the conditions for the functioning of the logistics infrastructure. In this regard, the study of current trends in the development of the logistics infrastructure of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe becomes particularly relevant. To solve the tasks set in the work, the following scientific research methods were used: abstract-logical and system-structural analysis, comparative analysis and grouping. The article defines the essence of logistics infrastructure in the system of the international economy. The key trends in the development of logistics infrastructure are highlighted. The impact of international economic integration on the formation of logistics systems in the region is assessed. International economic integration plays a decisive role in the development of the logistics infrastructure of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. It contributes to the modernization of transport systems, the growth of international trade volumes, the attraction of investments, the integration of the countries of the region into global logistics chains and the increase in its competitiveness. It has been established that the logistics systems of the region demonstrate gradual growth and a high level of integration into the European transport and logistics space. The dominance of road transport in the structure of freight transportation has been revealed, as well as the presence of different models of logistics development in individual countries, which is due to their geographical, economic and infrastructural features. It has been proven that the dynamics of logistics infrastructure development largely depends on the influence of global factors, in particular geopolitical changes, which have caused the transformation of transport flows and the strengthening of the transit role of the region.
