MORTALITY OF THE POPULATION OF UKRAINE DUE TO DISEASES OF THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

Goal: to study and analyze the mortality rates of the population of Ukraine due to diseases of the circulatory system in the context of the regions of Ukraine.
Materials and methods: the data of sectoral statistical reporting for the period 2015, 2020 and 2021 were used as the materials of the study. Bibliosemantic and medical-and-statistical methods and the method of structural and logical analysis were applied in the course of the study.
Results. Mortality of the population of Ukraine due to diseases of the circulatory system over the years of the study increased by 17,8% and amounted to 1114,8 per 100 thousand people. The marginal difference of the indicator differs by 1,81 times: from 816,6 in Transcarpathian region to 1482,1 in Chernihiv region. Mortality of the population of Ukraine due to coronary heart disease increased by 21,0% and amounted to 788,8 per 100 thousand people. The marginal difference of the indicator in terms of regions of the region composed 3,46 times: from 358,8 in Transcarpathian to 1242,5 in Chernihiv region. Mortality due to myocardial infarction in Ukraine increased by 20,0% and amounted to 28,2 per 100 thousand people. The marginal difference in the mortality rate due to myocardial infarction in the context of regions of Ukraine composed 3,52 times: from 12,3 in the Sumy region to 43,3 in Kyiv.
Conclusions. An increase in mortality of the population of Ukraine for the period 2015-2021 due to diseases of the circulatory system has been established, which requires optimization of the system of comprehensive medical care.
