CALCULATION OF THE NEED FOR PROVISION OF ADULT POPULATION WITH MENTAL DISORDERS WITH SOCIAL-AND-REHABILITATION SERVICES

Goal of study: to determine the estimated need of adult population of Transcarpathian region with mental disorders in social-and-rehabilitation services.
Materials and methods. The following methods were applied in the course of study: statistical, biblio-semantic, of structural-and-logical analysis, of systemic approach. The data of scientific literature and industry statistical reporting were used as the material of study.
Results and discussion. Estimated need of adult population of Transcarpathian region with mental disorders in social-and-rehabilitation services depend on the level of resources in the industry. In the conditions of limited resources, it is necessary to provide at least minimal need that comprises 10864 services. In the conditions of sufficient resources, it will be possible to provide optimal need that comprises 39981 services. In case it is possible to plan resources basing on clinical situation, rational need in services will comprise 85935 services.
Conclusions. The need of adult population of Transcarpathian region with mental disorders in social-and-rehabilitation services is calculated. It is recommended to use these calculations in development of the system of rehabilitation treatment in the region.
