Epidemiology of knee joint diseases among the adult population of Transcarpathian region as an indicator for reconstructive surgical care

Goal of research: to study and analyze the indicators of incidence and prevalence of knee joint diseases among the adult population of Transcarpathian region, which require reconstructive surgical care. Materials and methods. Materials: data of sectoral statistical reporting in Transcarpathian region for the years 2020–2022. Methods: bibliosemantic, medico-statistical and of structural-and-logical analysis. Results and discussion. An increase in the incidence of the adult population of Transcarpathian region and the prevalence among the adult population of the region of such diseases of the knee joint as deforming arthrosis of 3–4 degrees, post-traumatic arthrosis, improperly healed fracture of the knee joint, dysplasia, aseptic necrosis was established in the course of the study. It is defined that in the context of the administrative territories of the region, these indicators show a significant difference. Conclusions. The indicators of incidence and prevalence of knee joint diseases among the adult population of the region are the basic factors in the formation of the system of reconstructive surgical care for the population.
