Abstract

The article examines the role of occupational therapy grounded in an occupation-centered approach within the comprehensive rehabilitation process of military personnel following combat-related injuries. In the current context of military operations, there is an increasing need to restore not only the physical but also the psycho- emotional and social functions of individuals who have sustained injuries or experienced traumatic events. Traditional rehabilitation methods primarily focus on the recovery of motor abilities but often fail to ensure a sufficient level of reintegration into everyday life.Occupational therapy, which emphasizes engagement in meaningful and purposeful activities, contributes to the restoration of motivation, emotional resilience, self-regulation, and participation in social and professional roles.
