CULTURE OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION IN THE FORMATION OF SOCIO-COMMUNICATIVE AND PERSONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article examines the problem of forming a culture of professional communication as an important component of the socio-communicative and personal competence of future teachers in the system of professional education. The relevance of the research is determined by modern requirements for the professional training of pedagogical specialists, which involve not only a high level of professional knowledge and practical skills, but also the ability to communicate effectively, cooperate productively, adhere to professional ethics, and demonstrate responsibility in interpersonal interaction. The study substantiates that the culture of professional communication is an integrative characteristic of a future teacher’s personality, combining communicative skills, speech culture, moral and ethical values, tolerance, empathy, and readiness for partnership interaction. It is emphasized that the formation of communication culture should be implemented systematically through the integration of communicative components into the content of professional disciplines, the use of interactive and communicatively oriented teaching methods, as well as through self-education and self-development of students. The main directions of integrating professional communication culture into vocational and pedagogical training are identified, including content-based, activity-oriented, value-oriented, and speech-oriented approaches. It is proved that such integration contributes to the development of a holistic professional competence in which professional knowledge is closely connected with communicative culture and ethical behavior. Particular attention is paid to the pedagogical potential of interactive teaching methods, such as discussions, debates, role-playing games, case studies, project-based learning, and communication trainings. Their application promotes the development of professional speech, teamwork skills, critical thinking, communicative responsibility, and the ability to solve professional communication problems constructively. The article also highlights the role of self-education and self-upbringing in the continuous development of communication culture. It is noted that self-analysis, self-control, reflection, and motivation for self-improvement ensure the stability of communicative skills and support the professional and personal growth of future teachers. The authors conclude that the culture of professional communication is an essential condition for the formation of socio-communicative and personal competence of future teachers and an important factor in their successful professional realization in the modern educational environment.
