Abstract

Purpose – to study, evaluate and develop a model of life quality assessment in patients after myocardial infarction.
Materials and methods. The study was conducted by statistical processing of survey data of patients after myocardial infarction (310 questionnaires). In order to study the quality of life of patients, bibliosemantic, statistical and medical and sociological methods were used.
Results. The average quality of life of patients was 52,48 ± 0,45% and ranged from 34,64% to 71,07%. In men, the average level of life quality was 53,47 ± 0.54%, in women – 50,83 ± 0,75% relatively. Among the respondents in the age group 34-49 years, the average indicator of life quality was 61,69±0,59%, 50-64 years old – 55,18 ± 0,28% and at the age of 65-81 years old it was 42,71 ± 0,42% relatively. Based on the calculated indicators of multiple regression, it was found that the greatest impact on the life quality of patients after myocardial infarction had limitations in the physical (Rxy = -0,265) and psychological (Rxy = -0,247) spheres.
Conclusions. The developed model allows to predict the quality of life of patients after myocardial infarction and makes it possible to use it in the treatment process in order to improve the quality of life.
