Motivation of healthcare professionals as a tool for modern innovative management decisions

Purpose to conduct a comparative analysis of scientific literature sources on the study of the main components of motivation among medical professionals. Materials and methods. To achieve the stated goal, methods of systematic analysis and logical generalization were applied. Results. This article is dedicated to the pressing need for finding new approaches to implementing practical models of motivation among medical personnel in the face of various influencing factors in today's conditions. It explores the essence of the concepts of "motive" and "motivation," different types of motivation, and the influence of various factors on the formation of professional motivation. Conclusions. In the modern context of healthcare system reform and in the midst of the challenges posed by war and the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, motivation among doctors should be viewed as an innovative tool in making managerial decisions within the realm of medical management.
