The bryophytes of the Synevyr National Nature Park are still insufficiently studied. As of 2016, only 210 species were known in the park's bryoflora. In order to supplement this list, in 2025, a study of bryophytes was conducted in the vicinity of the villages of Synevyr, Synevyrska Polyana, Kolochava, and Mereshor. Beech, fir-tree forests, alder forests, swamps, rock outcrops near streams, and fortifications of the "Arpad Line" were examined. As a result of processing the collected material and taking into account data from previous years, 46 new species were discovered. In systematic terms, these are mainly representatives of the families Orthotrichaceae (7 species), Neckeraceae (6), Sphagnaceae, Pottiaceae, Bryaceae, Amblystegiaceae (4 species each), Mniaceae, and Brachytheciaceae (3 each); the remaining 10 families contain 1-2 species each. Of the protected mosses in the park, Dicranum viride (Sull. & Lesq.) Lindb. is a species listed in Appendix I of the Bern Convention and Brachythecium geheebii Milde, Hamatocaulis vernicosus (Mitt.) Hedenas, Tomentypnum nitens (Hedw.) Loeske, Porella arboris-vitae (With.) Grolle are included in the Red List of Bryophytes of Europe. Rare species were found in a peat bog (Tomentypnum nitens (Hedw.) Loeske), near a mineral spring (Pohlia melanodon (Brid.) A.J.Shaw and Didymodon tophaceus (Brid.) Lisa) and in ruderal places (Bryum dichotomum Hedw. and Imbrybryum alpinum (Huds. ex With.) N.Pedersen). The occurence of the rare Neckera pumila Hedw. was also confirmed in the park. Taking into account this addition, 256 species are now known in the bryoflora of the Synevyr National Nature Park.
