Abstract

On the basis of undertaken studies it was educed, that in the conditions of the Absheron peninsula there are 27 species of sphecid wasps (Hymenoptera, Sphecidae). Five species of sphecid wasps (S. turanicum, C. interrupta, C. bicincta, C. lunata, S. flavipennis) are presented by a little numbers of specimens. Three speices of them are indicated for the territory of settlement of Qovsan, C. lunata is noted for the territory of settlement of Pirshaga, C. bicincta catched on the territory of settlement Lokbatan. Specific composition of sphecid wasps is most richly presented in steppe areas, where 18 species were found. Cultural lanscapes and agrocenosis are most poor on the number of species and presented by a few specimens only. The second place on the number of species occupies bushes, where 14 kinds are registered. Most species that catched on bushes are entraped on flowering tamarix.
