Abstract

S. Yu. Popovych is a well-known Ukrainian scientist-biologist. During 40 years of tireless work in the field of science, he made a significant contribution to the theoretical and applied geobotanics, ecology, phytocоenology and conservation of nature. The article describes the main stages of formation his as a scientist and presents his main scientific achievements, and the results of their implementation into practice.
