Recreational activity in the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park is a combination of nature conservation with providing residents of the metropolis opportunities for leisure, environmental education, and psychological restoration. As the only national nature park located within a major city, the park welcomes over one million visitors annually and simultaneously faces a number of challenges: intense anthropogenic pressure, fragmented territory, and constant development threats. The park actively implements tools for the sustainable coexistence of humans and nature, in particular – spreading knowledge, popularizing scientific data, and fostering environmental culture. Under these conditions, recreational activity takes on particular importance – it must be well-organized, carefully managed, and environmentally responsible. Recreation in the park is not merely the arrangement of leisure; it is a systematic effort at the intersection of conservation, education, and community engagement that ensures the sustainable functioning of a natural area within an urban environment.
