Abstract

Objective: to study the structure of malignant neoplasms in the female population of Ukraine. Materials and methods. Materials: bulletins of the National Cancer Register for 2020-2024. Statistical data from territories controlled by Ukraine during the study period are included. Methods: bibliosemantic, medico-statistical, and structural-and-logical analysis. Results. The analysis of statistical data presented in the bulletins of the National Cancer Register showed that over the years of the study: the number of registered women with malignant neoplasms in Ukraine increased by 1.17 times and in 2024 amounted to 64404; a decrease in the number of deaths of women due to malignant neoplasms was registered by 1.24 times with an indicator in 2024 – 19451; the number of women who have malignant neoplasms and are registered in health care institutions increased by 1.06 times and in 2025 amounted to 738876. The analysis of the structure of women’s morbidity with malignant neoplasms, mortality of women due to malignant neoplasms and the contingent of women who are registered in health care institutions and have malignant neoplasms in the dynamics of the study period showed that no statistically significant changes were registered. The leading positions in this structure are occupied by breast malignant neoplasms, non-melanoma malignant neoplasms of the skin, malignant neoplasms of the cervix and uterine body, and malignant neoplasms of the colon. Conclusions. The data obtained during the study are important for planning the organization of specialized oncological medical care for women
