Copyright and licensing

All materials published in the scientific journal are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution International (CC-BY) license

The license permits users to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, cite, or reference scientific articles, provided that appropriate attribution to the authors is given in accordance with the terms of the license.

Authors publishing in the journal retain full copyright over their work. Submission of a manuscript to the journal implies granting the journal the right of first publication, as well as a non-exclusive license to disseminate the published version.

Accordingly, authors remain the owners of their intellectual property rights and are permitted to reuse, share, and archive their work, provided that appropriate acknowledgment is made to the original publication in this journal.

The Intermedical journal adheres to the Open Access policy. All articles are published indefinitely and free of charge immediately after the issue is published. Full-text real-time access to the journal's scientific articles is available on the journal's official website in the Archives section.

This corresponds to the BOAI definition of open access. The journal's licensing policy is compatible with the vast majority of open access and archiving policies.
