Пер-Інгвар Бранемарк і його роль в історії дентальної імплантації

У статті висвітлено історію відкриття шведським професором анатомії та хірургом-ортопедом доктором Пер-Інгвар Бранемарк явища «остеоінтеграції». В процесі тривалих досліджень були розроблені дентальні імплантати і успішні, перевірені на практиці, способи лікування адентії. Приведені принципи і умови ефективності застосування методики дентальної імплантації, розроблені доктором Бранемарк. Це відкриття здійснило революцію в дентальній імплантології, а також дозволило значно розширити реконструктивні можливості протезування в ортопедичній хірургії.
